Seal of Bi-literacy
This Seal of Bi-literacy is acknowledged in state level. It is an award for a high school student (Both School districts and Charter schools) for being proficient on more than one language. Any State colleges and universities will award College semester credit for the student who received this seal.
Accreditation:
This is acknowledged by county school system and varies by each county. High school students can get language credits based on the level of credits they earn in the Tamil school. Colleges and Universities need placement test for proficiency before awarding the semester credits.
